I have a bone to pick the the great city of Ark City and their wonderful sewage that flows into a close family member's house.  This has happened before but not this bad.  The sewage, which flowed out of the toilet and ruined about 1000 square feet of capet and also got into the ventalation system, seems to be a problem.  I have been told that the city will pick up the bill, and I hope they do.  I don't know about everyone else, but I pay almost $25 a month in sewer.  To me that means that this should not happen, but it does more that I know about.  Apparently that city has purchased numerous home because of the raw sewage smell that lingered after the restoration process was complete.  How nice.  Instead of fixing the sewer problems, the city decided to give downtown a facelift.  Oh and I must say that was well worth it.  Look how many new businesses are flocking downtown in light of this.  My mind is made up now, I am moving out of Ark City to the country, where if my sewer backs up, it's my fault.  The high priced city utility bill should have prevented this problem long ago.
