As a local monthly promoter of the pharmacutical companies, (against my will), I have come to appreciate the new Wal-Mart plan for four dollar prescriptions. I have not always been wild about spending money at this giant small business eating machine, but have recently found that at the Pharmacy in Wal-Mart I have been saving money. Alot of money. Target is also promoting this program. It is geared for low income families to assist with expensive prescriptions. Me, being on the lower half of the middle class, it has been a big help to me as well.

If you don't mind generic meds, there is a list of meds online you can get that are meds commonly prescribed by Doctors for common ailments. I take three meds, and all three are on the list. If you can find your meds on the list you would greatly benifit by checking it out. On a normal month I spend at least $80.00. This month I spent $39.00. This plan has been great for me.

Finally someone has been able to stand up to the large phamicutical companies and forced them to sell at a lower price so they can pass this on to the little people. I believe this is something even our government wasn't willing to do. Phamicutical companies have lobbiest that make sure of that.

This is not at all meant to be an advertisement for Wal Mart as I would go to Target or any store that would offer such benifits. I just thought if you all didn't know about it, you needed to check it out.
