My son plays for one of the ACMS Football teams and I am very proud of all the kids that are playing. I know that on the 7th grade team there is alot of talent and they have only lost a couple of games the whole way through youth football. Today we played Rose Hill and lost by a combined score of 106 to 6. This is the future of Ark City Football and something needs to be done. Parents, kids, and anyone that you ask on the street knows that our kids win and win through youth football and when they get to middle school they just continue to lose. I want someone to be held accountable. What does it hurt to have the middle school coaches talk to the youth football coaches that they have been with for the last 6 years to get an idea who can play in what positions? Or better yet, let's do some blocking and tackling in practice so the coaches can see for themselves. I just hope that Coach Wiemers at the High School is paying attention.
