Mr. LeRoy Alsup - really retired?

Interesting that the County Commissioners have extended Mr. Alsup's contract for 3 years- paid him his vacation time and 1/2 of sick leave time-- re-hiring him in 3 months with a guaranteed contract for 3 years- yet if he decides to leave before that time, he walks out the door!  As a taxpayer, I want to know when Mr. Alsup returns in three months, does he start out with zero vacation and zero sick leave since it has already been paid to him!!  I am calling BIG FOUL and DISCRIMINATION to all current county employees if he does not come back with zero days!!!  Interesting that all there is not a probationary period either! (more discrimination to new hires and past hires!)

I want to thank the people of Ark City for all the help they have given to Kimmie Freeman's family during this time of sorrow and loss. The things people have done is amazing. The passing of Kimmie on December 22 brought much sorrow and loss to all who knew Kim. Kim was known by many because of her work at Jumpstart. It is proof from the response of donations, condolences, visitation to the family, food donated of the loving giving heart of Kimmie and all those her life has touched. She was a great person and it is very effident how many lives she has touched in her short time with us on this earth. Thank you to all of you, you would make Kimmie proud with all the shown love and support you've given her family!!!!!
