Went to local giant chain store in Ark City because I needed to burn some documents from my computers. I bought a 50 pack of name brand blank Cds.
Went back home: Started burning....To my amazement out of the 50.....22 failed to burn: All indications from my systems was they could not even recognise the discs.
Ok I figured, return to store and tell them about it, and get it made right?
Low and Behold: What a conversation...with multiple managers and an exec manager. From each it was clear they were not going to replace the bad discs: But: What I never expected to hear from them was that they said "It is normal for 25 to 30 percent of the discs from any bundle not to work"... Now that blew my mind!
If they admit this openely: I ask why are you selling defective products you know do not work as a shopper expects, especially using and buying NAME BRAND ITEMS?
I was totally not satisfied!
So sharing this to see if OTHERS HAVE HAD this occur?
Blessings........Annlee

Ridiculous. You should get 25 to 30 percent of your money back. What if your checks bounced 25 to 30 percent of the time? Would that be acceptable to them?
You might want to consider another method for storing files- maybe a flash drive, or store things on an online storage site. CDs are not durable, and as you see, are not reliable. It is technology that is passing.
Bought another 50 pack of CD's, BUT from another place...Low and Behold...ALL 50 BURNED PERFECTLY!
and, they were not even a name brand?
The clerk, when asked: Did say they would expect all 50 to work as they are supposed to...THEY DID!
Something smells out there?
