What has happened, no new posts or replys in over a week? Let me stir it up. Surely theres some comment on the resurface of the hospital issue. Who knows, whats really going on at the City Sewer Treatment Plant. With the big property tax increase the school board, utilitity rate increase, surely theres some thoughts about a half cent tax for a hospital. [After all we had a one cent in 1986 to pay for an ambulance and the Radio Lane-Summit intersection and was promised that when completed it would come off. Ooops, it's still being collected]. Just wondering, inquiring minds want to know....
More wrong info again! sales tax was not to pay for an ambulance! It was to fund the upgrade to the ambulance service. EMS went from basic life support to type 1 service or paramedics, and to fund the radiolane summit upgrade.
