In an article on News cow called Candidates for sheriff spent $22K it states that Randy Emerson spent $2,742 at Turn of the Century for the printing of his signs. Can any tell me if this is a local company? Don Read spent $8,800 at Hays Sign Co. for his sign, and kept it in the local economy.
Hunter I checked and yes Turn of the Century is a local company partly owned by Karen Lewis 1900 North A, Ark city. I was also able to find out that Mr. Emerson spent money at South Kansas Screen Print, Stardust Sign & Design, & Hutto Printing all of Winfield. So all Of Mr. Emerson's expenses were local. I also found that both candidates had expenses with Newscow, KSOK, The Ark City Traveler and The Winfield Courier. Good question. And I too am gald to see they spent there campaign funds locally.
