Despite the weather the Veterans Day parade was  well attended.  1st.  The Weather.  Do OUR service personell around the world get to pick their days of work.  They are there for US in heat, rain, cold and enemy fire.  A little rain should not stop leaving our cozy home and pay homage to our Vets.  My hat if off the Ark City's VFW and American Leigon.  2nd.  Shame to the people driving vehicles into and across in front of OUR Honor Guard.  3rd.  Politicaly INCORECT.  Mexican appreciation day at Roosvelt School.  When contacted about this was told it was an oversight having it on Veterans Day.  What kind of calander do they use.  I have several and everyone one of them has VETERANS DAY on Nov. 11.  4th.  THANK YOU VETERANS.  Because of your service we in America can celibrate Mexican Appreciation day on YOUR day.
